Day 2 started with the biggest breakfast I've ever eaten in my entire life. Then it was on the bikes and off we went, things were going ok, a bit of a head wind as we headed towards Inverness slowed us down a bit but it didn't last long. Then we turned off the buisy and sometimes scary A9 and took the quiter roads through Dingwall, Muir of Ord and Beauly, which were very pretty and goes to show how much you miss going off the beaten track. Unfortunatly it then started to rain heavily and we were please to get to the coffee shop at loch ness. The lady there was lovely and gave us the coffee for free when she heard what we were doing. A quick photo with the monster followed and then off to Fort Augustus, were to our horror after an 80 mile ride we found the SYHA had goofed our booking and had nno rooms left available. Carl and Amy managed t find us another one just down the road though.
